Today AB-2098 went into effect as law in California. This is the law that will empower the Medical Board of California to revoke the licenses of physicians who disseminate “Misinformation” or, as the bill says “false information that is contradicted by contemporary scientific consensus” on COVID-19.
Well said! The implications of this law are so scary and to think that other states may follow suit. I wish you luck with your lawsuit! What is so scary is that people have to search for level headed, science based and common sense information about COVID (and frankly many other topics), but sadly many people are not willing/not interested in doing that. As a result, way too many people are just willing to go with the mainstream narrative. I will be following this closely and pray that a just decision is made!

I always knew the vaccines did not stop someone from becoming infected. The data we had at the time I was vaccinated was that vaccines significantly reduced a person's risk of infection. If I knew what I knew now about the myocarditis risk in males under the age of 40, especially with Moderna (which is what I had and a booster), I would have either gone with Pfizer or refused to be vaccinated (I had no choice at CVS; all they had was Moderna). I'm 32, and I'm worried I may have potentially harmed my heart as a result of being vaccinated with Moderna.
AB-2098 is the worst law against humans. I am shamed and scared to live in California where has this kind of unjustness . I greatly appreciate your courage for voicing and fighting. I felt a hope to live in California.
I’m a retired physician, having practiced 30 years in NJ. You are totally correct in your beliefs. We never seem to learn from history, where government thought control/ censorship has repeatedly led to horrendous totalitarian societies. And our supposed “free press” has become most complicit and anything but “free.”

This bill seems despicably anti-scientific and sets a terrible precedent. The absurd politicisation of science has been an awful outcome of the Wuhan plague.
